Our last stop during Restaurant Week was Jambo Cafe. We had been to Jambo several years ago and decided it was definitely time to come back. This is a family friendly place with lots of families with children. It was nice to see so many children eating out with their parents. At 35 dollars per person this was a wallet friendly restaurant as well. I still can’t believe the large quantities of quality food we received.
The appetizers were a Mediterranean salad and the soup of the day. These were a meal in itself. The Mediterranean Salad had marinated artichoke hearts, capers, olives, roasted red bell peppers, grape tomatoes and red onions over organic field greens topped with a mint feta cheese dressing.
The soup of the day was a curry coconut sweet potato which was divine. I thought this soup was well prepared with excellent spices.
