We got to Oasis Paletaria earlier than they were open so we explored the Panadería Y Tortilleria Sani. I am so glad we did. In the photos below, you will see their delicious empanadas. These empanadas came in all different flavors. The best part was that the empanadas were not too sweet or sugary. The empanadas were also a good size and reasonably priced.

A Sweet Potato Empananda
You help yourself using their tongs and tray. The man at the counter was very helpful. We asked which empanadas were his favorite. He said the sweet potato. We had never had sweet potato empanadas so we tried them. Boy, we were glad we did. They were creamy and tasty. As you can see the filling was generous.
This is definitely a find so the next time we are in the area, we will be back.
