We arrived early in the morning and took a bus tour of the incredible city of Barcelona. The architecture was mind blowing. Gaudi was a true visionary. He was so impressive that you really have to see his work in person. My camera doesn’t really do his work justice so I’m focusing on my food photos instead. This was my first time to this wondrous city and I can guarantee it will not be my last.
We were dropped off at our hotel, the enchanting Hotel Indigo. While we were waiting to check in, we decided to checkout the small DOQ bar/ restaurant at the hotel. We talked to our bartender/ server as to what was available. We decided on tapas and a glass of white Spanish Wine. ok, this was my favorite white wine that I had in Spain. I don’t know if it was cold enough or I was real thirsty. It was Delicioso! We had three different tapas with our glass of white wine. We had noodles, tuna and papas bravas. All were very good. We thought this was a good start to our stay in this vibrant city.
