I have wanted to go to Rude Boy Cookies for a long time. The name just spoke to me. So when we visited Green Gene Vegan Cafe, it was a wonderful opportunity to visit Rude Boy. Rude Boy Cookies are just down the street on Harvard Drive. Fair warning, you should know that I love cookies! I would go out of my way to visit an incredible cookie shop. Rude Boy didn’t disappoint.

I absolutely loved the double chocolate cookie(2). It was moist and chewy. I loved how soft this cookie was. It really hit the spot. There are also gluten-free and vegan cookies of the Chocolate Chip and Peanut butter versions for an up charge of 50 cents.
We also tried the cookie dough pops(5) because who can resist cookie dough. We had the brand new s’more. The cookie dough pop was a big hit. The pop was beautifully decorated and the inside was filled with wonderful cookie dough
We walked up to the window and were quickly waited on. The server helped with any questions that we had. Their on-line menu was kind of overwhelming so I was glad we went to the walk up window. The plastic wrap is very sturdy so I waited(it was really hard) until we got home to open up those packages of goodness. This place will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Rude Boy hours are: Thursday – Sunday 12-6. There is now a second location of Rude Boy at the El Vado Shopping Area.
I just found out about a new cookie shop in Santa Fe called XOnuevo . It is the brainchild of a young baking phenom who according to Alex DeVore of the Santa Fe Reporter received special permission to attend Santa Fe Community College when she was 13 to attend classes. I’m waiting a few weeks after the article ran because I don’t want to add to the mad cookie rush. But it is hard, she is selling shortbread cookies for 2 dollars a piece or 15 dollars per dozen. She even has anise which is an all time favorite of mine. Wow! there is even a frequent buyer program which I just might have to join.
