I haven’t been to Paper Dosa in ages. It has been well over a year. Well, Paper Dosa is better than ever. Currently, Paper Dosa is even open for Lunch from 11am to 2pm and dinner from 4pm to 8pm. I will check back to see when indoor dining and patio dining is permitted.
It was very easy to order online. The online menu is very detailed giving you excellent descriptions of their menu items.
I ordered before the 4pm dinner opening. When we pulled up to Paper Dosa there was already a small crowd of cars.
You get a text when your order is ready. There is a walk-up window to pick up your order. How easy!
Raitha is one of my favorite items on the menu. It is a spiced yogurt with carrot and cucumber bits. At Paper Dosa, you receive an 8oz portion for 4.50. We are still working on ours.
Another one of my favorites is the Mushroom Medley Uttapam with sauteed bunapi, king trumpet, king oyster, bunashimeji, shiitake mushrooms with red onions(14). Photo below. The mushrooms are perfectly cooked and the uttapam is light
I love rasam. It is one of my favorite soups. The spices are delightful. The soup itself is hot. Rasam is made with blended lentils, cilantro, tomatoes, and spices. It is Gluten-free and vegan. I didn’t know that. What a delicious soup. Sorry, I was very hungry so I started eating before I took these photos.
I forgot to take a photo of the vegetable curry(16) as well. It was delicious. I can’t believe how large the vegetables are but they are soft and tender. The peas, carrots, potatoes, and beans were incredible. The curry was mild. I’m not sure I am ready for their hot curry. The curry also comes with soup. We received 4 containers of soup.
We are so glad that we went back to Paper Dosa. The Indian food is from the south of India, I had never had food from that area before I tried Paper Dosa.
La Boca is opening for indoor service and take out on March 3, 2021. La Boca’s winter hours are Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-8pm.
