We haven’t been to Alicia’s Tortilleria in ages(See Blog post Dec3, 2018). It has been too long. We needed some tortillas for breakfast burritos so we immediately thought of Alicia’s.

It was around lunchtime for me, so I ordered some tamales. The vegetable tamales were 2 dollars a piece. I thought this was a really great deal. I sure don’t want to make tamales because they are time intensive work.
The tamales were stuffed with the usual: summer squash and corn.
We also had the huevos rancheros(12). Wow! That was a great bargain as well. Right after we ordered the place was packed. We were lucky to get the lull before the next wave of people coming into the tortilleria.
The huevos rancheros came with 2 eggs, 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. All this for only 12 dollars. And it was absolutely delicious. Everything! It was wonderful!
We also bought the tortillas to make breakfast burritos. They were huge. It made a great breakfast. Yes, this is coming from a person who isn’t fond of breakfast. All you needed to make were some scrambled eggs with hot sauce and add some black beans and cheese.
The tortillas were 4 dollars a dozen. We got 12 of the best, freshest tortillas ever. I mean you could eat these tortillas plain. Just heat them up and you are good.
It was a delicious outing. We are already planning to go back to get more tortillas and try some other food.

This is one of my very favorite places in Santa Fe. Just Go! You will love it, too. Do know that their English is much better than my Spanish.
