I have been waiting and waiting for this restaurant to open. Last week it finally did! Bear Creek Brewing Company will have their own beer in October according to Rich, who is one of the owners. Until then Bear Creek has some very tasty beer on tap from other New Mexico and Colorado Breweries. Updated Sept 19, Ok, Bear Creek Brewing has changed its name to Beer Creek Brewing.
First, we were impressed with the menu. There were several vegetarian selections. There were two speciality pizzas, 1 sandwich, and 3 salads. You can even build your own pizza. You can choose a crust. We chose the regular but you can order whole wheat or gluten-free. (only comes in 12 inch size with a $4.00 upcharge).

We had The Goddess, a Greek style pizza that had alfredo sauce, baby spinach, artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and chopped garlic. Because we live in New Mexico we added green chile( an upcharge). We ordered a large which is 16 inches. We also ordered a large San Margherita Pizza that had its crust brushed with olive oil, a garlic sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and tomatoes. Again you have to have green chile with a small upcharge.

Secondly, Bear Creek had an excellent selection of on tap beers. We had beers from Odell(Co) and Tumbleroot(Santa Fe).
Thirdly, the service was very impressive.
And last but not least, we finally have a good restaurant close to our house!
