Remember I went to the Perico’s at Isotopes Park. Well, I really wanted to try their vegetarian burrito so I tracked one Perico’s location down near Costco at 4729 Alexander Blvd. It was in a food court with entertainment called the Revel Entertainment. It reminded us of the Chomp Food Court in Santa Fe. The Revel Food Court is still finding its way. We went at an off time but I am sure this place is going to be filled on the weekends. There is plenty of parking in this industrial park area.
Perico’s had a take out window so you didn’t have to go into the Revel. We did because I wanted to see what exactly was family entertainment with food. Ok, so far family entertainment was a couple of pinball machines. I wasn’t there for the entertainment but I was there for the food.
As you know, I fell in love with the Perico’s bean burrito at the ballpark. There was enough beans and cheese to keep me happy. The tortilla is just pure magic. It was love at first bite. I wasn’t disappointed at the Perico’s at Revel. The tortilla was once again the star. I think I could just have that tortilla warmed up and I would be incredibly happy. So I ordered Number 14, the Vegetarian(5.89) which had guacamole. sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and cream served with either red or green chile. I had the green chile. Next time I’m going to ask for extra green chile. It was there but I needed a little more chile than I received.
We also had the breakfast burrito(4.75) which had egg, potatoes, beans, cheese, and red or green chile. This time we had Christmas or both red and green.
This beautiful burrito was just as delicious as the vegetarian burrito. Yum!
